BRIEF HISTORY OF

JOINT CHRISTIAN CAMPUS FELLOWSHIP (JCCF),

SAAPADE CHAPTER
JCCF started with a number of students that have been gathering under different denominations to pray and share the word of God from the year 2008-2011.
However, these meetings were not regular and consistent. This inconsistency became a spiritual challenge and was very frustrating to some Christian members of staff of the campus.

Some members of staff met together and decided to meet with few students that usually gathered in the ND1 Bus Admin block for fellowship.

These are the names of the students present at the meeting held in march 2011; Bro Sejoro Ayoola, Sis Adejumoke Ogunkoya, Sis Okuboyejo Kikelomo, Sis Talabi Olaide, Sis Adaramola Ifeoluwa, Bro Uba Joseph, Bro Okulalu Olamilekan to mention a few amongst others.

Mr. M.O Afolabi Presided over the meeting and the day (web.), venue and time of the fellowship hour were established. Bro Sejoro Ayoola was appointed to coordinate the fellowship hour Sis Adejumoke Ogunkoya was chosen as the Gen Sec/Treasurer. Miss O.T Ayenuro was appointed to oversee the affairs of the new fellowship. The "Joint Christian Campus Fellowship Saapade" was agreed by everyone present.

It was of noteworthy to mention Miss Oyatokun who was a motivating force for the progress of the fellowship (JCCF) as she was attending the meetings to encourage the members.

In 2012, God raised some "generals" from among the students who worked tremendously with the pioneering coordinator and president to make the fellowship a continuous one and a reality. Some Pastors from the neighboring towns were also instrumental in the continuity of the work of God on campus. They are; Pastor Olayinka Ojo, Pastor Aina, Pastor Adio, and Mr. Oyebola.

To God be the Glory Joint Christian Campus Fellowship Saapade Chapter has come to stay.
